@RascalKyng Yep, original neck. I let off the strings if it's going to sit around for very long. Seems to be doing fine. Probably helps that I have it in open tuning a lot of the time.

I replaced the face of this guitar in 79 with the help of Santa Cruz Guitars. Set it up for steel then.

I thought Bay States could ONLY take gut or nylon strings...? Bracing is too light...

I think I had on a set of light gauge Martin Elixirs. How do I measure the "lower bout"? It has a really wide neck, with I like a lot...about the same as my classical and my 12-string. So I don't have to adapt when switching guitars.
