Did your companion stop to pay the toll or did you not realize that was a toll both you blew through around 5:20?
When I did it I paid the first toll and blew through the second thinking, 'I already paid earlier." By the time I got to the third one it had sunk in that you were supposed to pay each time. It's a pretty small price for such an amazing ride.
