The Queen of Nanaimo's Whistle Blasting One Long and Three Short as she departs Tsawwassen operating her astern propulsion. Later on, she sounds One Long (Not to Mention LOUD) Blast as she enters Active Pass.

  • This horn just **screams** BC Ferries. The signature E-major chord. I wish all BC Ferries ships had it.

  • The ferry whistles/horns used to sound much more frequently. Years ago, the Ferries were required to blow the whistle whenever leaving Horseshoe Bay, and whenever approaching other marine traffic, especially after several people perished in a pleasure craft off Cowan's point. It is very strange that this practice has been all but curtailed.
