Third in a series of informative films detailing the construction progress of the Combined Heat and Power (CHP) biomass gasifier plant at the University of East Anglia. When complete the plant will reduce UEA's carbon emissions by nearly 40% on 1990 levels (despite student numbers rising by 240% in that time). The plant will also produce between 200-300 tonnes of biochar.

  • The exhaust emissions from a Jenbacher engine are actually cleaner than the ambient air in a large industrialised city. Great engines, the best of Austrian technology.
