One Night Stand (Beast, Britney Spears, et al)

Just as Taeyang went from "Wedding Dress" to "I Need a Girl", I go from "The Reception" to "One Night Stand". This was another large project, bringing together eight more pop/dance songs in one...demonstrating that you can create something new and worth through combination and composition, and that pop songs all sound the same.

The connections are looser this time; if you want to put a story on this, it's exploring the emotions that are part of a One Night Stand: anticipation, excitement, desire, awe...and regret, longing, and shame.

The inspiration for this one came from "Shock", which I discovered a while back as part of DJ Masa's "HOT K-POP 2010 pt. 1" mashup (http://youtu.be/nQ5ZW0gYL7M). When I later heard Epik High's "One", the two were far too similar to let this opportunity pass (sadly, I think whoever wrote "Shock" was probably more than influenced by "One")...and the rest is history.

Also, the music video for "One" is a lot darker than my impression of the song. I tried to reduce that somewhat, but it's certainly still a more serious side of a One Night Stand.
