my trans am is kinda slow in 2nd gear i floor it and it dosnt take off fast why =(

How fast are you going when you floor it/how many rpms are you running. It all depends on that if you are going above thirty five it wont do much because your going to fast for it to downshift without over reving. If yours is an auto like mine when im in Second and slow down to 25 - 30 and floor it they just about break loose when she downshifts into first.

The previous owner put a flo-pro muffler on it and i just had the cat removed (tryin to get another vid made of the after but just cant find the time) Mine shuts down at 135 (speed rating of the stock tires) but if i can remeber right that was only at about 3000 rpms well she had more in er

mine cut out like that when the fuel pump was going out. its a bitch to change out without a lift

i have the same car, same year, same color. and it sounds the same. but mine needs a paint job:( it has like skin cancer.  im 16 and i got it for 2800 sickest car ever im in love with it. i had a shift kit installed so it peels out when shifting into 2nd and 3rd.

haha i found out you have to slam the gas pedal then i jumps to about 5000 rpms

i got the auto 4spd. i runs great now

should i drive on the big d when i want more power?
