Scotland, Arkansas Tornado Damage (4/30/10)

*UPDATE 2* This day is the same day that Reed and Sean chased on Episode 3 of Storm Chasers' season 4.

*UPDATE* This tornado has been reported to be an EF3 by the Little Rock office of the National Weather service. It was responsible for 1 death in the Scotland community. and up to 2 dozen injuries.

Up to 20 tornado reports peppered the states of Arkansas, Missouri, and Wisconsin as a violent tornado outbreak ravaged the country side. Several communities were hit epically hard including Scotland, AR where one person lost their lives as several long track and violent tornadoes bared down on the tiny central Arkansas community on the evening of April 30th, 2010. This is a sample of the footage I shot after helping road crews clear tree debris and close off the areas hardest hit.

I was in clinton and came to help clear up the roads with my causin and his freinds...stepped on a nail in a fence post not 2 minutes after getting out. Still helped clear branches all night... Was at the base untill the national gaurd came. Was a good expereince.

I was in that shit man. I was in the small small community of Robertstown which is about 15 miles from Scotland and me, my dad, my brother, my dad's girlfriend and her children and taco bell dog and my rat terrier to her house and we had to sit in her storm cellar without no door. It nearly hit us and we weren't touched.

@82Nikkis then u would have to call me stupid.... cuz i dont rly see how building damage is worse than hundreds of deaths... ofc its a horrible way to die...

I'd fear more for my life if there was a huge earthquake, than if there was a tornado warning....

And no i havent been in a tornado... or any nature disaster.... since i live in sweden... i dont have the perception u may have... but this is what i think atm.

Maybe i would change my midn after a tornado... i dont know.

We just had an EF4 tornado in my area of Toledo, Ohio on June, 5th 2010. The tornado hit at night time around 11:30 and then another huge storm came at around 3am. Milbury, Ohio looks like a warzone...It's very sad. Hugs from Toledo, Ohio!!!

1 death is not so bad.... ure they look scary.. but i would be more scared if i got hit by an earthquake or something, or flooding

my wife and i chase and we were out today. her aunts house in east end got damaged.
