despite numerous wars, genocidal regimes and totalitarian dictatorships, if you compare the world now to the world as it was 80 years ago, we were a lot better off back then, despite medical advances and mass food production. the percentages have swayed, and more people die violently now that 80 years ago, more starve, more die from preventable disease. what's there to be proud of? that you idol's are more magnificent?

@jeffrey3940304 they certainly can, and when i heard cries of "you white fella's" at the australia day protests i was at first concerned. then i consider the intervention, and the apology for the stolen generation, and asked myself "is history repeating?" i thought about the systemic segregation that still occurs today, formed by economic and state boundaries... and asked myself "is history repeating?" and then i don't want to wait around... sean, what is a revolution born from?
