John Moyle Memorial Field Day 2010
I was setup at Corn Hill (QF12LO) 14km South of Ararat.
I had 50Mhz,144Mhz,432Mhz,1.296Ghz, 2.403Ghz and 10.368Ghz.
I had a total of 75 contacts and 1300 points at the end of the 24 hours.
The three most memorable contacts was with VK3XPD/P and VK5SR/P and VK2KRR.
I worked VK3XPD on 2.403Ghz at Mt Tassie (QF31GO) 333km from me
also I worked VK5SR on 10.368Ghz at the bluff (QF02GG) 216km from me
and I worked VK2KRR on 1.296Ghz at his home The Rock (Q2F34MR) 435km from me.
So after some early mishaps with 2.403Ghz feed line all went well.
73`s from Tim VK3JTM until the next one.

  • tx for the vid. Nice view etc, but would have liked to see more of your set up etc.

Is this a solo effort ? How long does it take you to get set up ?

  • @DENMONKEY

Thanks for the comment, I did a time laps of the setup stage but the cam battery went flat and it did not save the recording so this is all I got sorry.

This is a solo station and it take me 3 hours to setup and 2 hours to pack up.
