Simulating / Emulating Satellite Networks for Application Testing

iTrinegy's Product Director, Frank Puranik explains how a network emulator may be a more cost-effective alternative to using a satellite simulator (satsim) to replicate the conditions of a satellite network (including impairments such as latency, jitter, packet loss and packet error) so that you can test the performance of data applications prior to actual rollout. This overview also briefly touches on how iTrinegy's INE Enterprise network emulator can also simultaneously recreate WAN, wireless, mobile and other types of network whilst creating satellite simulations.
