I use code 100 as well, but the reason that many people choose code 83 is because it represents about 150 pound rail while code 100 represents about 220 pound rail. 150 is more "believable"

That Looks Like Code 83 Track, I Use Code 100, As All Of Th People At My Local Hobby Shop Prefer It, And I've Tested Both, Code 100 Works And Looks Better.
