Clay soils found at the Endeavour Crater. Interesting. The geology of Mars appears to be igneous and volcanic in nature. It's too bad they did not send up a drill rig to do core samples and send back the results. I'm interested in what lies a mile or so below the surface. Minerals and elements such as precious, semi precious and strategic metals and stones, including diamonds are formed by way of intense heat and pressure. I hope that I will see the day they drill the surface of Mars.
