Sænautasel is an old farm on a very remote area in the highland of Iceland. This farm was the main model for the setting of the novel: Sjálfstætt fólk (e. Independent People) by Halldór Kiljan Laxness, who is the only Icelander, who has won the Nobel Prize for Literature. The video is also about traditional Icelandic food. The hostess I interviewed speaks Icelandic but you can read about the farm on the webpage.
Best book i've ever read in my life, sore and amazing!
