TVB Jade-Youth Nation - Dutch Design in Hong Kong - Clogs

Two hosts introduced KLOMP!, an exhibition of Dutch clogs, and they were amazed by the beautiful designs the clogs had on them. The Netherlands was the partner country of Business of Design Week 2008. The clogs exhibition served as a platform for the country to promote its traditions.

The organizer invited 70 artists from Holland, Hong Kong and China to decorate the clogs and show of their unique creativity. The design concepts of the clogs and the purpose of the exhibition were also mentioned.

Mr Robert Schuddeboom, Consul-General of the Kingdom of the Netherlands in Hong Kong, was interviewed by the hosts. He told the audience that the clogs will be auctioned in early 2009 and the proceeds will be donated to EEN.
