  • @nickeyj56

You are not alone there. I do too!

  • Ray's duet with Willie hit #11 in Billboard, 2-14-81. God bless!

  • @DaveWollenberg

Thank you Dave for info. You certainly know you music.

  • This was when country music had feeling and meaning and was presented by artists who wasn't in it for the check. Look at Ray's attire! I saw Chesney on stage in torn fadded rags. Where is the self respect and pride?

  • @flashbell Yes. Great voice and always presents himself well. He is one of the best!!!

  • beautiful voice - one of the greates singers ever

  • The Big E.............

  • Lovely old song by Ray, 5*~ Arthur

  • @DaveWollenberg This song was also released on the 1965 Ray Price album titled The Other Woman, which in my humble opinion is the best collection of country "weepers" ever put on vinyl, and it has not been challenged, at least in my mind, since. In addition to the title track which reached the #2 spot on Billboard, this song also charted late 1965 and peaked at #11 in early 1966. Now and then I still break out that album, sit back and let it transport me back to a time worth remembering.

  • You are simply the best. . . more power. . .more music RAY PRICE!!! We love you!

  • Ray has and always will be the master of the understated country soulful sound. Younger folks would do well to closely listen to his delivery of songs just like this gem. He lightly caresses the lyrics and always respects the writer's intent. A class act all the way. It's his sound we heard as when younger we contemplated the lonely half-full glass and when older reflected back to instant-recall memories. May God Bless the old Cherokee Cowboy and ride with him down the last trail home.

  • Wouldn't you think that this man knows what hurting is all about. How could he put this much emotion in a song, if he didn't. Keep um crying Ray!!!!!!!

  • What great music, great COUNTRY MUSIC! It's not this stuff they call country today. I don't even listen to it. I used to live in Texas and wish I had a dollar for every step I've two-stepped around those good country dance halls years ago. I have memories that will last me for the rest of my life. Music like this stirs memories, warms the heart and I can't hlep but get a little smile on my face and if anyone could see, they would probably see a little twinkle in my eye!!!!
