This is just a little tease/sample segment of the documentary we have spent the past year creating. We were thrilled to work with such incredible footage shot on-location by Rueters Peruvian cameraman Carlos Valdez and US cameraman David Creech that documented the extraordinary efforts of explorer Bruce Barron, entrepreneur Marshall Pickard and their team. We hope we'll be able to announce a sale soon! In the meantime, enjoy. Karon & Mike

  • Did he say their crossing was more difficult than Fawcett's?!

    That is just absurd!

The guy has inflatable rafts, sterno, the best gear on Earth, GPS (I am sure), flashlights, and I bet there is a sat phone somewhere one of those packs...the most advanced thing Fawcett used was a compass! He also had to worry about being killed by native tribes (which probably happened) and was in the jungle for months and months.

RIght...this guy has it so much worse.

  • @Johnnewb -- Note: He says this in regard to making the pass across the jungle, where there were no trails as before, not in reference to Fawcett's entire journey.

  • Ive looked for the full video and I cant find it anywhere. Is it released yet? If so where can I find it?

  • I can't wait to see the entire video!

  • Im so excited about this. Marshall is one of my very good friends and its an honor to be viewing this. I cant wait to see the entire film......Kat

  • I had heard explorer Bruce Barron recount this story shortly after returning from the expedition. His understated style obviously left much of the challenge and fight for survival while pursuing the expedition's goal unknown until now. In the footsteps, but not the shadow of many explorers before him he remains an inspiration. It will be hard waiting for the full story to be shown.
