Apple iPhone 4S Review Part 2: Hardware

In this part of the review we look at the impact of hardware improvements such as the use of the Apple A5 processor and the new 8 Mpixel camera. The fast A5 processor provides video output capability equivalent to the iPad 2, with desktop mirroring and video streaming through HDMI or Airplay. HDMI video looks great on HD 1080p displays, as we demonstrate. The camera's also a big improvement, both for still and 1080p HD video, although not up to the level of standalone consumer cameras.
