@trapezegrrl A single rope (corde) is considered Spanish Web, like the difference between tissu and aerial silks: just the name--but, no, it's not easy. It is something an average person would be able to learn the basics, but it takes hard work to progress (unlike say straps or silks, where you need to be extremely flexible).

Corde is so much harder than web and you need a bunch of core muscles like when you use silks or you will get internal injuries as well as burns. Plus, you need the fore arms of pop eye the sailor man to sustain any time on the corde Lets just respect anyone willing to try. Artistry deserves a nod!

Hahaha..... Well that´s how you use spanish web.. If you need to teach kids who cant clime rope... But I don´t understand why you r speaking about the web in this video when youtube is full of web....

although im not a big fan of corde lisse thanks 2 100's of burns etc i dunno why cara is saying its easy its so difficult,and yes spanish web is simple i learnt in 3 days

I don't kow what the hell you're talking about, but maybe you shouldn't make comments about things you clearly have no knowledge of. Rope is extremely difficult and taxing on the body. I have tons of injuries,a nd constantly am getting burns and bruises. This also is not spanish web, which is easy. Spanish web has a loop. If you did it ("so easily"), you should know that.

i love the spanish web. and ya know...everyone can do it. its easy as hellz. i went to club med a dozen times as a kid, and they had a circus for the kids club. this was included in many of the acts we performed. if any child can learn it, anyone can.
