Birmingham Kingstanding NPRG and Den Haag

Residents from the Kingstanding Neighbourhood Forum in Birmingham have been taking part in an experiment in how residents might work with public money to solve local problems. A pilot of the Neighbourhood Performance Reward Grant was run in 2007. Kingstanding Neighbourhood Forum used £10,000 and their own efforts as volunteers to improve big rubbish clearance and deal with litter in parts of the neighbourhood.
