Short snippet of an unreleased song by Amy Winehouse. "Money (No More Jazz n' Blues)" was written by Amy and Edward Bigham and registered in Los Angeles when Amy was promoting her debut album Frank. @giovanipozzo
@monthervil you and everyone else who ever read any news on her. she did write a lot but was very rarely seen recording... there is definitely material but no-one's being completely honest on whether they will be releasing it and when.
@AlphaBionic2016 Youre right. In my opinion, "Lioness" should have been the title of a more reggae-sounding album. "Hidden Treasures" should have been the title of previously unheard material from the Frank and B2B era. Before Amy died, people from the industry were talking and saying that the new music they heard from her was unbelieveable & even better than B2B.I read that she'd been in the studio with Snoop Dog and also with Missy Elliott. Amy was not just drinking & vactioning for THREE years
@AlphaBionic2016 Lioness would be a great title for an album full of reggae/ ska songs. They should have released THOSE songs onto its.---Along with "Our Day Will Come"(a ska song).
Then other songs like "Like Smoke" and "Halftime" could have been bonus songs.
@monthervil Mitch is confirmed to be the head of Amy's estate(for a long time now). If your a musician and someone is the head of your estate they are automatically going to have control over your "art"---In that case that would be music.
So it is not even heresay or anything like that. Mitch definitely has control over Amy's music.
Seriously though---They should have released those reggae/ ska songs and put the onto "Lioness". That would have fit the reggae theme and been a great album title
@AlphaBionic2016 Oh, now I see your point. I agree with nearly all you wrote there. You know, I've got a list of about 25 unreleased songs by Amy, there's too much unreleased stuff we never heard (including live versions of b-sides such as What Is It About Men, Fool's Gold, Help Yourself and 'round Midnight) but for now they won't give clues that there'll be more and better music because they want everyone paying attention just on "Lioness". It's definetely something Amy wouldn't be proud.
I really can't comment on who has control over Amy's music, voice (audio files) and likeness (video footage), because I dont know. I do know, however, that Amy was recording long before she ever got signed, AND long after Back 2 Black.I refuse to believe that "Between the Cheats" was the last "new Amy Winehouse song". Unlike many people, I followed her career long before she passed, and in several cases, I took note of alleged recorded reggae/ska album and material that was "too dark"
@simasf lol I'm here, working on music, so I was asked to lay low for a while. I Saw that you shared some of my stuff....that's really kind of you, Giovani; now, if my music does well, if I win grammys, I'll have you to thank. You'll be part of the reason ! :)
@simasf I keep reading about a guitarist named John Bigham in the funk/soul band Fishbone and many times Amy is mentioned.Do you think there could be a connection to Edward Bigham?

@simasf Her dad is a very frustrating man---Especially with his recent comments about that fashion show that was tributing Amy.
I honestly do not understand the guy's mind process.
Does he think his daughter would be happy that he is releasing a book INSTEAD of actual music?
Can anyone here think that Amy would have been happy that her artwork was being "locked"
