"Opera Mini" is written all over it :) I mean it's the same idea. It realy works on mobile phones. I don't see why it wouldn't be implemented for the PC? :D
Firefox has some security add-ons, which I consider essential for me (No-Script*, AddBlock), plus other usefull ones (such as a translater, a temporary preview window, a Youtube direct link download next to the video etc) other browsers don't have or don't feature similar options/customisations. That's why I use Firefox as my web browser.
