Wonderful singing and acting, Sadnik gives such a nervous Gregor, passionate yet unsure of himself, he always says the wrong thing - the perfect victim for Benackova's Marty. Yet in the end we are left with the feeling of two lonely people who cannot communicate. Why is this superb opera not part of the regular repertoire?
