  • nice video!

but ive been wondering how you avoid the spraypaint getting under the parts you havent cut out when youre painting it?

  • Spray some cheap adhesive on the bottom of the stencil before you put it down it will stop underspray and will let the stencil peal right off when your done.

  • how much was the paint you have in the backround??

  • Thats just like wal-mart paint, it's only a few dollars a can

  • how do u print in sections so wen u put it together its the same size and fits together

  • hahaha a lot of trial and error lol

  • That came out pretty well :)

  • LOL VOICE CRACK AT :14

  • and after the stencil is cut they coat it with something to make it thicker and sometimes if they need floating elements they put a thin silk gauze between 2 sheets of mulberry paper. Very advanced in this art are the Japanese. You can see the result on kimonos that have been decorated by the Katazome method. many are for sale on ebay, doesn't cost anything to have a look.

  • The cheapie way of doing this w/o Photoshop is to make photocopies on a darker setting and keep copying the new copy until you get the correct contrast.

For those interested the Japanese have a long tadition where they put a paste resist thru the stencil onto kimono fabric then dye the fabric, then remove the resist and the design of the stencil is left undyed. They call it Katagami. Some are for sale on ebay. They use special mulberry paper that's thin and strong and waterproof.

  • @ifusayso11 man, i wish you started with a slow cut first...helps get the flow of it....i cant see whats going on in fast mod
