I tried to film fishing with underwater camera but didn't get anything good. After reviewing the few hours of the footage I noticed a small pike was hinting in the background. So, I just put all those episodes together with some royalty-free music. It's not soo easy to spot him before it starts moving.
The video was recorded in Grand Canal in September 2010.

  • @underwaterireland i have an idea for filming while fishing, you could attach a GoPro to the fishing line and use it as weight!

  • I laughed my ass off when louder music broke in while this pike was "staring" at me :D

  • nice video!! haha the cute lil pike

  • @000graeme000 thanks :) I usually don't use any light (except at night) - this is an advantage of filming while snorkeling. Last time I film with Canon FH S10 + Equinox HD-6. Tips? You can correct colours with software, it's easier that filters. Try to move as less as possible and keep camera as steady as possible. I also use to leave camera on the bottom (fit to some pole) filming for couple of hourse - I always was getting something interesting. I also like to shot against the light.

  • highly boring

  • good to see the activity shame not much action captured
