42 Part 1 - Take A Breath - A Jonas Brothers Fanfic - Season 2!!

Joe: Hey...
He walked over and sat down next to me on the couch. He put his arm on the back of the couch, and started tapping a beat with his hand. I immediately picked up the beat, When You Look Me In The Eyes.
Julia: When you look me in the eyes, by you!
Joe: Ha, youre good.
Julia: Yea, special talent. I can do it with any song that Ive heard in the past 6 months. But 6 months is a rough estimate.
Joe: Sweet.
He started tapping Underdog.
Julia: Shes an underdog, lives next door to me! Shes always heard, you wont amount to anything. And it, kills me, to watch, the agony beyond her eyes. Tragic, the way, people pass her by, but, now I realize!
I stood up and started spinning in circles while I was singing.
Joe left and came back quickly with his guitar and started playing. Joe was standing next to me now while I continued to sing.
I kept singing the song until it was over.
Joe: Wheres Nick?
Julia: Nick... good question...
Nick: Right here
He had his phone in his hand, he was texting, and Im not really sure who though.
Joe: Hey, guys, I need to go think, Ill be back, err... later.
Joe left towards his bedroom.
Julia: Hey Nick, who ya texting?
Nick: Miley.
He was still just staring at his phone.
Julia: Oh, why?
Nick: Well shes filming her movie somewhere around here, I wanted to see her before we go somewhere else... I think were going to be here for a while actually, we arent booked for at least 2 days.
Julia: Oh... why Miley?
Nick: Because I want it to be Miley.
Julia: Well, I dont want you getting hurt by her again, and I dont think that your parents, Kevin, Joe, or even Frankie like her very much.
Nick: Well you know what?
He stood up and stood right in front of me. He started to get in my face.
Nick: I might ASK HER OUT.
He screamed it at me and left.

I felt like I was going to cry. He reminded me of my dad. Off in the distance I could hear Joe and Kevin.
Kevin: Whats up with the yelling?
Joe: Yea, Im kind of trying to relax.
Nick: Its not a big deal, its just, that, her, in the living room.
I heard him stomp away. I didnt even know what I did wrong, but all I do know is that it was the first time that the person that I thought would never be upset with me or yell at me did. I cried. It was the first time I thought someone cared.
Joe: Whats wrong?
He came in and kneeled in front of me, and he wiped away my tears with his thumb.
Julia: N-Nick yelled a-at me.
Joe: Oh. Why?
Julia: I-I dont k-know, something a-about Miley. I-Im only complaining b-because h-he r-reminded me of...
I stopped talking for a second. I could feel the hysterics coming.
Julia: My dad.
I whispered it as softly as I could, trying to stop the tears. I think Joe could tell.
