@MrWizzardozz Sorry to burst your bubble but, while there's no AutoTune, per se (Antares and that exact technology didn't exist at that time) but this song most certainly did get mixed through 'tuning' and lots and LOTS of other effects, such as the Eventide Harmonizer. The settings used did in fact 'tune' the voice and were simply "keyed" in through MIDI automation rather than automatically tuning to the nearest chromatic as AutoTune does.

Annoted with, "Another great video by Howard Jones" - I would argue, another expensive video that does not flatter either his pinched looks or wonky conceptual ideas (have you seen Things Can Only Get Better?!) but I must reluctantly admit, the songs are incredibly strong, both highly muso and bursting with pop hooks. What a conundrum our Hojo is.

I thought this was the BEST ever Howard Jones video back in 89 when it first came out. Hard to believe it is now 20 years on!?!? It was a different world back then. I kinda wish I could go back.....
