Soo Line 1003 Edgerton to Milton Junction 10/23/2010

On Saturday, 1003 was to make its return trip to the Wisconsin Auto Museum at Hartford. First, it backed up to make a runby through the entire city of Edgerton. I was set up at the other end of Spencer Street from where I had shot it reversing into town the day before.

Next, the 1003 and its two-caboose train is seen chugging across Newville Road near Milton Junction.

At the junction, they pulled onto the wye track and cut off from the cabooses to take on coal. Then, MP15AC WSOR 1506 arrived to "escort" the 1003 north on the CN main once they got to Waukesha.

@HeadmasterFox Yeah, it does tend to get windy around here especially in the fall. Case in point, today and (forecasted) tomorrow. If I were out shooting today, you wouldn't be able to hear a thing except whooooooommmphhhhhh.
