Generic labels like this existed between 79-80, just a white can with black lettering. "Beer" was one of them. "Chips" was another. Totally embarrassing to be seen buying this stuff at the checkout line. I blame Safeway and Kroger, they started it with crappy Wal-mart generic no-name crap labels. Scotch-buy beer was so bad the winos wouldn't touch the stuff.
