  • @sepaol I think they ment that they won with that tank in Japan

  • Well, the allied tanks were kind of bad, but in a way really good, for every german tank, the USA had about 6-7 shermans. Shermans were also smaller and more mobile and agile tanks than germans.

  • Official tactics were It took 3 Shemans to be killed distracting a single Tiger while a 4th Sherman tried to get very close to the back end of that Tiger. While one Tigers 88 could pick off the Shermans from any angle 1000's yards away. Mass production of inferior tanks just ment more of our guys got killed, unfortunately.

  • One on one, German tanks were obviously better than allied ones. However, when compared in army vs army situation, allied tanks such as m4s and T34s proved to be much better. They were numerous which meant that your army was always well supplied in tanks. They were mobile and could quickly support crumbing flanks and exploit enemy weakpoints. Lastly, their numbers and HE efficient guns were davastating against the infantry, the backbone of any army.

  • m4 sherman worst tank ever.

  • @sepaol Calling the Soviets "allies" is the basis behind them saying that I think. It doesn't count as an ally if it's about to invade you, but it gets invaded by your mutual enemy, and after the war poises to attack you too. That's not an ally in most people's book.

  • @dividednation44 before you call me a liar, how about you research the actual facts? Panther had 12.5psi, Panzer IV had 14psi, and the Sherman 13psi ground pressure.

  • @redreaper2020 the suspension was extremely narrow often getting stuck on mud you little liar.

    try again. dumbass

  • @sepaol Oh so you're just taking a figure of speech and interpreting it as ultra-literally as you possibly can in order to discredit it, thus making yourself feel smart.

    *me dies laughing*

  • @RealH0rr0rsh0w you have no idea of my knowledge, didn't you?

i know what mass production is, i kn ow that this tankhelped a lot in africa, and normandy, but saying "the sherman is the tank who won the ww2 for the allies" is like saying that this tank win the war alone, and i will be honest, i think that Soviet tanks did more work than those in the U.S.
