Robert Benoit sings and plays guitars and bass on the Merle Travis classic, Dark as a Dungeon. The photographs are of various North American coal mining disasters including the Westray Mine tragedy of 1992 in which 26 miners lost their lives in Plymouth, Nova Scotia.

  • Beautiful version and touching pictures.

  • That's what they claimed Pblynn. From the beginning they had problems with cave ins, and such and yet the never closed it, or had it inspected... 26 men lost their lives and for what? A simple mistake that could have been taken care of with getting people to fix everything up to code... The Methane that is under that ground in Pictou County is the highest in the area, and that didn't even phase the company... That's why they only found 15 bodies, and why 11 men are left down there til this day.
