You are going a wonderful job. Keep up the good work...one problem I have with elements 6 is I can't seem to change the background. I get the little gray squares. How do I get rid of them.

hi jack. thank you for all your info.i understand layers but when i try to make one i dont see the pic of the person i am copying its just white checker pattern. how do i get the pic to show so i can see the back ground thank you..

How do you drag an image into a new layer. Every time I try to do it, it creates another psd file.
