THAI FOOD Sweet Sticky Rice with Mangos

I like it so much.

I remember now, in the Philippines, yellow (ripe mangoes) could be paired with "suman", a sticky (glutinous) rice cooked in the same way but wrapped in coconut leaves.

Sweet Rice with mango and flowers. Joke. Looks yummy. In the Philippines, we used to eat sticky rice cooked in coconut milk and sweetened but I never heard that you can pair it with yellow mangoes. We have the best mango too. I like Thailand and Thais are good people.

I've followed this recipe a handful of times now and can vouch for how perfect it is. It also translates well to a half quantity. Microwaving the rice is GREAT, easy, clean and foolproof. Thanks so much!

i love thai food but its rare to find pure thai restaurants here in saudi arabia .. most of them are owned by chinese/filipino chefs

I cooked this today and it was excellent. The microwave method for the rice was PERFECT and so easy! I found that the amount of rice sauce was a bit overwhelming so next time I'll just pour most of it in instead of the full amount. If you've never had this dish you just HAVE to try it. It's heaven!

OMG .I try to cook sweet rice in the microwave and it come out soooo good. It amazing ,I love sweet rice,but never know how to cook it right.This is it,I will tell all my friend about it.Thankyou soooo much lady.Oh,I top it with some sesame seed,yummy.
