  • The point of including Sarah Palin is b/c as a parent to a child that has special needs, she is the first person that should know how to address someone with a disability. (That's my assumption as this isn't my video)

  • What was the point of including Sarah Palin among the bad examples? I thought she was respectful in addressing a class of people, among whom she counts herself. Including this example needlessly confuses your message, which I genuinely agree with.

  • I'm disabled and I'm personally offended by the term "People with Disabilities". I also recieve SSDI-child. Disability issurance and I've noticed my insurance doesn't use People first language. I'm not saying we should all go off and call people gimps and retards but I personally don't see a problem with terms such as "disabled people", or "handicapped people".

  • Very well put......schools need to show this to students!!!!
