  • Hey, you are playing this in Eb. How the hell can you do that without barres? Something is fishy.

  • Hey Billnn54:

Thanks for the comments. Eb, standarad tuning, no fancy stuff. The video is exactly what I played, no edits. I only learned the melody then took it from there and arranged it myself. I like how my guitar sounds on that tune in that key. I guess I could've done it it D, or C, but I like the voicings and how they sound in Eb. I did a "how to" video of that exact arrangement for a friend of mine. Hope that helps. If you have any other questions, send them on. Thanks! Tim

  • hi there,,,your a great player!!Just thought id mention that when you improvise you run 2 bars long...Try and keep the melody in your head at all times.Nice and different though

  • Thanks for the kind words but I can assure you that those extra bars were intentional and I do keep the form in my head at all times. Playing solo guitar allows you the opportunity to break the rules when there are no other players that have to follow you. Take care!

  • nice tune what do you think of those aer amps was thinking of getting one to play with martin fisherman aura anyway nice finger work ! derek

  • Thanks for the comments. Regarding the AER. I really like it but there is an amp I reviewed for Fingerstyle Magazine that will be in an upcoming issue: AAD Cub by Phil Jones. He makes bass amps but he developed this little 11.5 lb amp and I was pretty impressed with it. It's half the price of the AER too. Take care!

  • Outstanding sound, playing and arrangement! I can't believe that people post on here trying to tell you what they think you're doing wrong - as if they have a clue. They only show their ignorance.

  • that was fantastic well done

  • Hi'ya, Tim.

Keep pickin'. You're good, as always.

Thank you for dropping in with "Those Golden Fields", on "Wild Chicory"

That was a topper for me. Give Nelda a hug,

in case I don't hit Gallatin anytime soon. - A dedicated fan, and fellow musician

  • Wow.. congratulations!

  • Can you post the link to the tutorial? Great playing and great arrangement!

  • I want to know where to learn chords like this.. anyone know? Lol

  • hey great playing man! I was wondering where I could find the chords to this song?

  • @timthompsonguitar dont you hate when people have to criticize...the guitar was in your hands...not slicker37's am i right?....great job.

  • That was simply freaking awesome

  • You are really a first rate guitar player! Just so you know, I have been playing for many years and know this tune, and many others, very well. I hope you don't mind if I borrow a bit from you concept! On my own, brother, I don't think I would play all that good, but because I have "good hands" as they say, I can copy and learn from other, truly l talented players, such as yourself! I really like E flat for this song - very soft and "dreamy". I can never get it right, but I keep getting better!
