This is a video we made a while back but we have been busy and did not get around to uploading it.
It is an update on the International Sunflower Contest that we started a while back.

  • is it necessary to stake my sunflowers?

  • I think it is advisable otherwise they can blow over easily in the wind.

  • We shot this a while ago when it was still a bit sunny. Sorry for the delay.

  • Did you name your flowers??? or am I just not really understanding what your saying?

  • wat

  • Mine is just under 8 ft tall still hasn't flowered yet just has a small bud on top. Has a really decent stalk on it, hoping it will grow larger.

  • @Gschnok Renetto FTW!!!

  • poor renetto :-(

  • How often should i water a mini sun flower? According to the package it only grows about 4 ft high.

  • yaya sun flowers are great what about the ganja youve got? : D

  • LAME!

  • nice looking sunflowers and I thought mine were tall.

This is my first sunflower try and they came out rally nice and I have them staked but the flowers are really bowing low looks like serious neck problems. hurts mine just to look.

Does anyone know if I should re-stake the flowers and re-direct the flower itself to face more upwards? as is now, a few flowers look like they're looking down and not getting sunlight.

  • the best time to plant is after may so that the sunflowers will still be alive and growing along with the intense midsummer heat. Why do people plant sunflowers in april only to have them fully grown in july?
