@Aurality The Boarding School spell suggests Middle Class doesn't it. Do you remember this incident at the time? I saw it in '89. I couldn't understand why he was getting so worked up.

@Aurality Did briefly go to boarding school but also Comprehensive schools ( he passed his 11 plus but his Dad opted for Comprehensive. But he was kicked out of a lot of schools and ended up in Borstal. His Dad was in The Navy (not high up) but often away. Boarding school they thought would stop his thieving and hanging round with ne'rdowells. He wasn't there long. His Parents not rich. His Dad worked hard, scrimped and saved. Working class Pompey's culturally/economically. Allen says
