"In his presentation, Ivan Ureta links the issue of arriving mobile devices in the rural areas of Africa and Latin America to the migratory context and puts emphasis on the general reasons of migration as well as the impact of ICTs on it and possible consequences.
The conference, of which his presentation is part, aims to analyze the influences of ICT (especially the use of mobile and internet devices) on the social and economic development among the most vulnerable population in Africa and Latin America.
