At 0230 CST we arrived on scene at a fully engulfed structure fire with no firemen in sight. We called 911. The structure collapsed while on the phone with 911. I started video taping after hanging up and hearing the fire trucks coming.

  • Was this fire in Mt Carmel... or Mt Carmel Subdivision?

  • The fire was in the Mt. Carmel Subdivision on Mt. Carmel road. It was about a block east of the pool.

  • why are they shotting water over a power line just drop a hose and do it that way or did they do both. Was this a house?

  • The first truck that arrived attached to the fire hydrant and turned on their upper hose to shower the area. When the second truck arrived they attached regular hoses so they were fighting it from three sides. It's just really hard to see them in the dark. This was a house.

  • Do yo have to be blowing your smoke in front of the lense ha ha nice video how did you manage to get there so quick

  • We were coming home from a bar and saw the fire over a mile away and drove to it thinking we would be seeing the FD put a fire out. Instead we were the first ones there and had to call 911.

The cigarette smoke just added to the DRAMA! LOL
