  • My Mom and Dad were kids back then, they talked about it all my life

  • It got Altoona pretty good too, but not as bad as the other three mentioned!

    Fortunately this was not as bad as the flood of 1889, where the loss of lives will never compare to those who perished in that huge catastrophe in 1889. The floods of 1889 were the worst that ever hit Pennsylvania.
