Skydivers Land in Wrong Stadium (Duke - JMU)

This clip appeared on "World's Dumbest Daredevils," on TruTV. It was also featured on ESPN's "Around the Horn" and "Pardon the Interruption."

Two skydivers landed in Duke's Wallace Wade stadium before the Duke - James Madison University (JMU) by accident on 8/30/08. The duo was SUPPOSED to land nine miles away in UNC's Kenan Stadium.

Due to cloud cover, the pilot had cancelled the jump, but changed his mind when the clouds broke, and the skydivers jumped to the stadium.

Unfortunately, they were over the wrong stadium. Duke officials were NOT expecting ANY skydivers.

Players were still warming up on the field. Fortunately, none of the players were injured, and the skydivers landed safely.

One was supposed to deploy a UNC flag as he entered the stadium. Luckily for him, he thought better of it.
