  • I think you are missing the point. Gangsta rap is a form of expression that gave a voice to groups of people who have been downtrodden and marginalized for centuries. Maybe if don't like the way they put the message out there then fine. But don't dismiss its significance because most of it are based on real pressing problems in America, stuff you definetly wont find in Will Smiths music

  • so rodney getting beat is horrible but when reginald denny got beat it was ok because it was done by "angry black guys." .sounds like society double standards at its best.

  • racism doesn't counter racism, remember that

  • There noting wrong with white or blacks

  • @hollywoodtetsu- When I saw footage of Reginald Denny getting beat I was shocked and appalled. I thought, "That shouldn't happen to any human being". Fortunately, with the help of video footage, his assailants were brought to justice. However, in this there lies another double standard, but reversed. Rodney King was beat and it was caught on video. La Tasha Harlins was shot and killed and her murder was caught on video as well. But none of these assailants were brought to justice...

  • @hollywoodtetsu a messege had to be sent out, blame the pussy cops, and the crooked government for starting it all

  • jordan by the time youget welfare you've already lost if blacks had a fairdeal they wouldn't need welfare would they your right education is key but building ghettos and not giving communities access to services is what its all about.

  • I don't blame the black community for going apeshit over the verdict.

  • gangsta obama rap. kenyan negros in the black house.

  • people especially suburbanites who watch these videos on Youtube just don't get how iconic and hero status these pioneers of hip hop were. take the soulja boy vs Ice T fued, for example, it was really funny for me to ride the BART train and hear young 15-17 yr black kids from the hood diss the fuck out of Soulja Boy and the Dirty South, especially Mississippi and their old country banjo ways, like any self respecting nigga from the hood from Cali is gonna side with Soulja Boy over ICE T, GTFO.

  • Cypress HILL ALL DAY PUTOS

  • I lived in South Gate when the riots started. From my bedroom window I can see the smoke billowing in the air day in day out over the horizon. It was pretty intense living near south central during that time. I knew alot of kids at my school went to join in on the rioting.
