@britpoppansy Actually...you're the one who is way off. I saw them live in a small club back around 2003, and she explained the story of the song. She said she wrote it about a person in an asylum, suffering from dimentia. The song is also from the 1998 album "Cocoon Crash".

OMG!! I heard this song back in '98 and i became obsessed with it...i was still trying to learn English and i just remembered the part that says "they think i'm crazy" but i had the melody in my head...then tonight, I searched for Not An Addict (cause i effing love that song) and i came across with this video/song and i swear, I started to scream like a crazy person...can't believe I've found this song that has haunted me for almost 15 years!!!!!

The song is about a man who's being held in a psychiatric hospital.
He suffers from a mental illness and he tells his story
In the end (the last paragraph) he repeats what he have said in the beginning, which symbolize his illness.
