I don't have to say it I can act it out and it would be 20 times more offensive, I could call them defective, I could use a euphemism "they're damaged goods", I could be politically correct "they're handicapped", I could antiquate the word with the degree in which someone's behavior or conduct is unbecoming, moronic, or juvenile. I barley use the word because there are so many words that I could use that are more powerful, retard is the dumb man's power word.

@BabydollBootz I don't feel humiliated for being late. I just "am" but not humiliated. Being late or feeling humiliated has nothing to do with being ignorant. @BabydollBootz You asked so I'll make an attempt to answer. Beats me why people cuss. Sure I say an occassional Hell or Damn but NEVER directed towards other people as it's disrespectful. When I hear some people cuss and that's the only way they can express themselves, I truly feel sorry for them. 'Tis obvious that they haven't a large enough vocabulary to truly express how they feel about a subject. They are very ignorant of the English language and perhaps they need some more education.

@blindedby2monkeys You asked a question so will try to answer it. You seem to be quite ignorant. Obviously, you just don't get it. Take some time to get to know a few people who society labels with that word and ask them how they feel about the word and they WILL tell you that they don't like it - it hurts them. Why people want to hurt others is such a waste of time when there are so many other positive things to do in this world.
