  • I have to admit I didn't find this helpful, but I can't knock those who try which is why I gave it a thumbs up...

I think the wool you're using is too dark for clear usage, and you also go very fast. When you said "So there's two pieces on the top of the chain, one underneath" and then "insert the hook into the bottom piece of yarn" lead me to misunderstand it as putting the hook through the one chain. I hope you can see where I'm coming from but I appreciate that you've helped others! :)

  • @Ryles23 I did these videos for a class I took years ago and I'm always surprised that people are still watching them. One of the things we emphasized in the class is that there are many different learning styles. I'm sorry the vids didn't help you but that is the difficult thing about trying to teach everyone using the same technique - it just isn't possible! I hope you find another video that helps, there are lots of them here on youtube. Good luck.

  • Why is it that when you don't understand something, you behave like a spoiled child and call the person who tried to explain it a bitch? You are the one who didn't understand. I am a beginner, and I think this is very good. There is no reason for you to be mean.

  • every crochet always goes tooo fast -.-

  • I've been wanting to learn to crochet, my grandma tried to teach me as a child and all I ever knew how to do was a chain stitch, so I sure hope this will help me.

  • Thank u. instruction was very clear.

  • Thank you very much Amy for the clear and precise instructions.

I`ve been trying to learn how to crochet for many years than I care to admit. I have even had friends hold their hands in mine whilst trying to teach me and I still couldn`t do it...until now that is.

I can knit beautifully if I do say so myself and even taught myself how to knit cable too. Learning crochet techniques seemed so difficult from books. But your instructions made it seem so easy. Thanks so much

    Wendy xx
