Flite Test - The Bixler Build - PROJECT

The Bixler Build. Although Josh S. still envies Bixler for having his own plane, in this episode of Flite Test He helps build the Bixler. Josh S. reviews the plane giving us the positives, and the negitives. The Josh'es go to fly the bixler, oh wait! I guess you'll have to wait. Tune in next time to see what Josh S. thinks about the bixler flying expirience.

  • isn't that the kit

  • Do you have to break in the motor like a car and what battery does it use so i can get some extras

  • Hey Josh - Are you proud of the Bixler Plane? I wouldnt be if I were you. Instructions are very poor.

Even Josh mentions how difficult it is to see things in the video and you brush over it. Quality of plastics and decals on the remote are feeble. It is a good starter plane but could also be a turn off for people getting started as it is nowhere as easy to fly as demonstrated in this video. I think your enthusiasm is great and I like watching your videos but this plane package could be better.

  • Not the best model for those who don`t have a car...

Detaching the wing everytime will broke the EPO and wires for ailerons control.

  • At around 3:55 , we see Josh S. go off with the battery and the charger. Do you need a 12 v power supply that can hook up to it? + if so, what does he use? Thanks

  • Too bad a US company cannot manufacture these soon we all will be Chinas punks, less US jobs less buyers. Nice plane though flys well.

  • I'm sold I'm buying one

  • I love my Bixler! Thanks Josh and thanks Santa ;) I took it out to fly yesterday in fairly high winds (more than I'd fly my 400 size helis in) and the Bixler was a hoot! At low throttle into the wind it could actually fly backwards (slowly) and flying with the wind it screams along. Catching the Bixler by the nose instead of landing it is fun too. This is my first fixed wing aircraft and I would recomend it to anyone wanting to learn to fly RC.

  • @chiosex The "Nearly Ready to Fly" doesn't come with an ESC, transmitter or battery, so the fusalage is not stuck together to allow installation of ESC. This is also better as it is easier to install the FPV gear first.
