I was lucky enough to see Thompson live solo back in 1992 when this song came out. It was at a free show in a big outdoor amphitheater in Chicago and most people there were probably not familiar with his work. But when he started playing his guitar, I swear that was the only sound that existed. Everyone was silent and transfixed. Magic.
