The Solar Crisis Rally was held November 4th 2010 at Sydney Town Hall.

UPDATE:
The Rally was held yesterday and was a big success with a large turnout of media, a press conference, workers and business owners from across the state gathered in town hall to share their stories and listen to the speakers. Also present were pillars of the solar community like Dr David Mills (known for his international work in solar thermal and a big supporter of solar in Australia) and NSW representatives of parliament, Green MP John Kaye & Shadow Minister for Climate Change and Environment Sustainability Catherine Cusack.

The campaign continues - get involved!
1) Write to or call Premier Keneally or Opposition Leader O'Farrell (contact details on the AuSES website: http://www.auses.org.au/solar-crisis-rally/)

2) Get vocal! Talk to the media:
i) Write letters to your local editor/paper
ii) Call in to talk back radio and share your views on the solar industry and the impact this cut is having on you as a consumer, employee/worker/contractor or as a business owner - small, family owner or large scale solar...

3) Become a member of AuSES - membership matters and is what allows AuSES to lobby on your behalf.

4) Donate to the campaign.

5) Spread the word!
Pass on info to your community via email and your social networks.

6) Share your story with us!
How is this solar feed-in tariff affecting you or your business?
Email: SolarCrisisRally@gmail.com

We need to hear from *you* so we can tell *your story* to the government representatives and journalists/media we are speaking to as we lead up to this rally - and beyond as we continue to lobby for the return of balance, a fair feed-in tariff for rooftop solar generated power in NSW and solar policy stability nationwide.
