CW telemetry in the 435.315 MHz frequency of the mysterious amateur radio satellite - Radio Sputnik (RS-30) launched by Russia on May 23, 2008. Heard over Brazil - IC 706 MKIIG and 1/4 wave ground plane antenna. The Doppler effect is very long. ( www.spacesat.blogspot.com - portuguese )

  • The ICOM 706 Yum-Yum :)

  • With my FM/AM/MW/SW radio, in 3000Khz or samethink like that, i receive a morce code. It's a Satellite??

    thx

    PS:Sorry my english , i'm portuguese. xD

  • Wow! Must be some kind of transmitter to have a doppler THAT long (I'm not much of a radio operator, so pardon me for my ignorance)

  • scary

  • i pick these kinda signals up all the time on my scanner. Its cool to here stuff like that coming from outer space. Not just outer space, it could be any kind of radio signal.

  • Did they record space via video camera aswell? I don't actually mean a video camera but something to observe space by vision?

  • buen radio saludos

  • it could just be a low- speed date service transmitted around your area?
