i must admit that when i think of the Trilogy its of Star Wars and not LOTR... not to say i dont like LOTR but its not THE Trilogy...

Back to the future is my personal favorite trilogy of movies but it's not the best. Star Wars 4-6 were the best. Only reason I say this is because the 3rd Back to the Future was kind of lame IMO. No offense to yours but Star Wars will always be top dog no matter how many "True Vision's" or Prequels/Sequels Lucas and Disney want to make. Only good alternate Star Wars story I've seen is Clone Wars by Genndy Tartakovsky.
