Historic Hot Wells sulfur springs resort in San Antonio, Texas, next to Mission San Jose, and the hike/bike trail of the Mission Reach of the San Antonio River Improvements Project attracted the rich, famous, and adventuresome for its healing mineral waters for bathing, dining, strolling, courting, gambling, and ostrich races.

  • @Engineer245 The water from the pools flowed into the San Antonio River. The water from the wells still do today.

  • WHE IS THIS PLACE GOING TO REOPEN?

  • Thanks for the nice video. Do you know where the sulfer water went after it exixted the pools? Since the was a constant flow of hot sulfer water into the pools there must have been a place they draine to. Was it the river?
